Carpet Installed exceeded our expectations

This was our 3rd time using S&G carpet and was the best experience yet. My mother-in-law has wanted new carpeting and Shawna was so patient with letting me take samples to the house and letting my mother-in-law select. Once we finalized the selection the measurement was scheduled and ordered. They worked with our schedule. The installers were AMAZING. I am pretty picky with details and I didn”t have to micro manage – the installers took care of every little detail, from keeping the home organized, to installing the baseboards, and of course the carpet.

Great service in store and at home during both estimate and install

I shopped around at a lot of different stores, including the big national home chains before deciding to go with S&G. Their price was very competitive and I was assured that the price I was quoted would be exactly what I paid. S&G sent a rep to do a free estimate and he took in to account stairs, space, etc to make sure I knew exactly what I was going to have to pay. In-store, Lisa was great in helping me choose my carpet and setup installation. The installer, Max Flores, was also top notch and had the work done on time and leaving the house clean. Great Job!

I thought all was lost after experiencing water damage from a broken pipe which caused the removal of the existing floor and four layers of old linoleum under it. I had my doubts that anything could be done with what was left of the sub floor. S&G’s estimator, Rod, calmed my nerves by explaining in detail how they could correct the problems and make this floor look beautiful again. Flooring Consultant, Luke, helped me with selecting what turned out to be the perfect replacement. I know, without a doubt, that I chose the right flooring company.

Exceptional Service

Kristina Franquez, Lead Flooring Consultant at the Rancho Cordova location provided much needed information and advice for a large hardwood flooring project. From the type of wood, color, texture, and style – she expertly guided us to find the right product. It was a lengthy process trying different samples in the search for the right one. We could always count on Kristina to call and follow up, asking which ones we liked and offering to find similar selections for us to try. She even drove out a sample to the Rocklin store on her day off! And she made every effort to offer competitive estimate. She is the gold bar standard for customer service that should be emulated by all S&G staff.

Great customer service by Diana Cardia and the S&G installation team

Diana really worked with us to find an affordable way to install new carpeting throughout our home. The two installation guys arrived on time, confirmed a few details and got to work moving all our furniture out of the way. I returned some hours later to find the carpet installed and everything moved back into place. Couldn’t have been easier!

I had my kitchen floor redone by a handy man.I had a cracked moulding that kept getting worse over time and could not get anyone to come out and repair it.I called s&g and ordered a natural oak moulding from gabriela. The part arrvied in two days, she sent out an installer ricky who installed it for a very small fee. It was repaired in a few minutes and I am thrilled. I hadn’t even purchased the original floor from s&g and they stil gave me 5 star service. I will be visiting them when I. Am ready for my next home improvement purchae
